Pay for CDL Operators is up to $18.00/hour. If you don't have a CDL, we will train you to get a CDL. Pay for Non-CDL Operators is up to $15.50/hour. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities depending on position availability. Our bus operators are primarily responsible for providing fixed-route bus services throughout the City of Lubbock as well as services on the Texas Tech University campus. Paratransit (CitiAccess) van operators are responsible for providing non-emergency medical transportation for disabled and Medicaid-eligible passengers. Citibus is a drug-free workplace. Applicants must be able to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and criminal background check.
- Vehicle Maintenance Technician
- Human Resources Coordinator
- Pay: $19.23 - $22.00 per hour
- Job description:Citibus in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill the position of Human Resources Coordinator. This position is responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and operational support duties for the HR team while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and accountability.
- Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay is $19.23 - $22.00
- Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED required (additional level of education a plus)
- 2-years of previous HR experience.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office applications
- Familiarity with employee payroll and benefit programs
- Familiarity with employment/labor laws and related programs to include EEO, Workers Compensation and FMLA
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification (preferred)
- Responsibilities Include:
- Maintains confidential employee records/information in electronic and hard file system
- Prepares job postings and handles employment application intake and processing
- Prepares for and conducts new hire onboarding to include I-9 verification and e-verify
- Coordinates UI, Worker’s Compensation and FMLA processes
- Tracks and coordinates operator physicals and related DOT/FTA requirements
- Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
- Conducts New Hire Orientation, benefits administration including enrollments, changes and terminations
- Assists employees and supervisors with interpretation of HR policies and procedures
- Other duties as required
